![]() Members of Veterans For Peace were part of a giant march and demonstration against Philadelphia's Franklin Mills Mall this Saturday. They were showing their opposition to the Army Experience Center. A giant pilot facility located within the mall that is a giant video game type war simulator used as a recruitment tool for kids young and old. The Army Experience Center cost over $4 million to create and has over 80 gaming stations and battle simulations. But the AEC has faced increased opposition from peace activists with the message "War is NOT a game!" Although the AEC remains open, the Army is facing increased public pressure as this two year pilot program enters it's final year. Check out the "Shut Down the Army Experience" website. |
